THE CROWNLANDS
The Crownlands are one of the seven kingdoms of Cephri. Unlike most the other kingdoms the Crownlands only came into fruition 900 years ago, after Aemon's Conquest. Before that it was a land full of different kings and different regions ununited.

The Crownlands is directly ruled by House Archer of King's Landing who have ruled since the start of Aeyron's reign in 895 AC, the current ruler is King Aeyron Archer. House Archer became rulers following the Crazed Collapse.

GEOGRAPHY
The Crownlands are based around Redwater Bay, with the capital of King's Landing built where the Redwater meets the bay. King's Landing, the largest city in Cephri, contains the Grand Sept and the Red Keep, the home of House Archer of King's Landing.

The crownlands are bordered to the east by the Hunter's Gift. Three rivers flow in the Crownlands; the Redwater,the Bluewater and the Greenwater all named after the kings who had settled there. Their names have been lost in history but they were known as the Red King, the Green King and the Blue King.

North of King's Landing is the kingswood, the royal hunting forest. Forests are the most prevalent element in the crownlands.

The Kingsroad connects King's Landing with the crossroads to the north in the Waterlands and WinterFort to the further north, while the capital is connected to Knife's Edge by the Proudroad and to Hunter's Hill by the Giftroad which also follows to Sun's Champion. The Shoreroad also connects King's Landing with the city of Sunworth.
Snow is infrequent at King's Landing.
PEOPLE&ECONOMY
The metropolis of King's Landing is the driving force of the region, with the largest population and harbor in the realm. Trade and taxes flow into the capital from every corner of the realm acknowledging the 3 Blade Throne, and many foreign vessels ply their wares as well. Virtually every craft and trade is practiced here, from metalsmithing and shipbuilding to alchemy. Elsewhere, fishing and farming are the norm, with a smattering of the common professions.
STORIES
The forests surrounding the Bluewater are one of the most haunted places in Cephri.
Creatures that have been ‘spotted’ in the forests are Werewolves ,Goblins and Jinns

From the book “Mysteries of Cephri” in page 58 Maxim Rodriguez wrote “ The forests surrounding the Bluewater are source of many tales in the Crownlands, many of the locals tell a story between them all. A young lad went into the forest with his lover, after going deep into the forest he stumbled upon a cave. His lover did not want to go inside the cave but the young boy did, after a few minutes his lover went into to the cave but what she saw made her stop anyone from travelling there. The locals don’t know what she saw but many believe there to be a woods witch who turned the young boy into a werewolf. The village in the past had a bounty placed on this ‘woods witch’ which many men tried to claim but they all went missing, so now the village avoid any contact with the woods witch to avoid her wrath.”
MILITARY STRENGTH
An estimate tells us the military strength of the Crownlands is to be 20,000-25,000 infantry and cavalry.
King's Landing's main defence is the King's Peace who also act as a sort of policing force in King's Landing. In 898 AC they can field about 3,000 loyal men.

The crownlands is also home to the royal fleet, which is one of the main three forces at sea in Cephri. The exact number of ships of the royal fleet are unknown.
HISTORY
HUNDRED KINGDOMS
For many centuries of years the Crownlands were a stomping ground for many different kings. There was not one king but multiple different kings and factions. There was a massive four way faction war between the Allies,the Royal Alliance,the Unholy Tripartite and the Bastards of Men. However none of these factions would win as near the end of the war both the Hunter's Gift and the Kingdom of Rivers and Waters invaded the crownlands decimating them and grabbing large portions of it and stopping by the lakes of the Redwater and the Bluewater.
BLACKFYRE CONQUEST
King Aemon Blackfyre landed in the spot in King's Landing in 2 BC alongside his sisters, naming the spot where he was "Aemon's Fort", Many of the crownlands' king's flocked over to King Aemon in hopes he would take back the crownlands but due to half the Crownlands being ruled by the Kingdom of the Rivers and Waters and The Hunter's Gift only the independent kingdoms followed Aemon, Daenerys and Naerys.
FALL OF BLACKFYRE
The last Blackfyre king was Agamemnon the Awful, the rebellion lead by House Algood toppled over the Blackfyres. House Algood were unloved and their reign was weak, the first king was a religious fanatic who banned religious freedom and persecuted anyone else who tried to practice other religions. He also banned women from walking without a man with them. Many despised these new laws, with people saying "it was a shame to even go down in history". So when House Flint of the Waterlands rose up in rebellion in 861 AC it was a rather small scale war with only portions of the Waterlands supporting House Flint and tiny portions of the Hunter's Gift supporting the crown. Many of the other kingdoms did not join in because they had their own separate plans of becoming independent from the 3 Blade Throne which they did not feel have much importance anymore since "the dragons have gone"

After House Flint's victory they succeeded the throne but the king died less than 6 months later due to the Orona illness that swept the nation that year. The kingdoms realised the mistake they made; they needed a real strong king who could rule the kingdoms in unity and be from a noble house which was why they asked Tywon Casterly to become the new king. However he made his brother Kevan Casterly the new king and him ruling as Hand of The King. This decision proved well as the Seven Kingdoms got back to running as normal
THE CRAZED COLLAPSE
The kingdoms had been ruled by the Casterly's for 33 years and no one had complained. All until King Orson Casterly who began to gain the nickname of "Crazed Casterly". He was only 20 years old when he ascended to the throne and his youth seemed to blind him. He thought he was a Blackfyre reincarnated as a Casterly, to rule and continue the Blackfyre lineage. This was a big deal because the people who believe in the All Father do not believe in reincarnation. Due to this behaviour he dyed his own hair bleach white which lead to poor hair quality making him prone to hair loss making him look much older then he was.

Tywon Casterly tried his best to put a stop to this crazed behaviour, but King Orson seemed to have a jealousy and distinct hatred towards his grand-uncle. Frequently belittling Tywon, in his outbursts he would say things like this "I will be the downfall of you". His most infamous act was the straw that broke the camel's back for Tywon, Tywon's golden son Ser Jamie Casterly was told to be a great fighter and after the natural death of one of Orson's kingsguard members, Orson announced Ser Jaime to his kingsguard. What seemed to be a prestigious honour was a mask to slight Tywon. Stripping him of his golden son and heir and leaving him with the less than desirable Loreon Casterly as his heir. Tywon immediately left the capital and his position as Hand of The King.

With his Blackfyre beliefs he thought Red Fìros was the key to bringing back dragons, so bit by bit he put tiny amounts of Red Fìros in his drinks believing it would let him breathe fire.

RECENT EVENTS
A CROWN FOR A KING
The Crownlands pledge to the loyalists, most of the Crownlanders are in Ser Jon's army when it was battered by Nestor but the rest stayed on at King's Landing as defence. Their defence was tested when the rebels attacked King's Landing.
