STORIES
There is a forest in the Hunter’s Gift which is said to be haunted by spirits. Accounts say that they see ‘green, lizard like people’ another says ‘green beings that looked like trees’ another says ‘green, wavy, long haired females’. The trees there also seem to be ‘whispering’ to each other. Travellers feel ‘agitated’ and feel ‘as if they are being looked over by a hundred eyes’
MILITARY STRENGTH
An estimate tells us the military strength of the Hunter's Gift to be 100,000-105,000 men strong, though this count is a mass mobilisation of nearly the entire region.

The naval strength can be found by the coastal lords.
HISTORY
THE DAWN AGE
It is thought the very first men who learnt how to hunt lived here. Due to them learning the nature of hunting, it helped them bring power to themselves as they stepped away from agriculture. The Hunter Kings have been very violent and frequent wars. One such can be when The Hunter King betrayed King Regis of the Kingdom of the Rising sun and executed his peace envoy, Lord Swyft.

NISHANS
House Nik came over during the Nishan invasion and they took over the top half of The Hunter's Gift from the castle Blackcrown, while the other bottom half from Hunter's Hill to Sunworth Castle was ruled by the previous rulers House Gardevoir. After about 600 years House Nik invaded the lower half of the Hunter's Gift and unified both kingdoms into the Hunter's Gift.
BLACKFYRE CONQUEST
Aemon Blackfyre did not attack the Hunter's Gift first, attacking the Waterlands first. House Royce of the Hunter's Gift supported King Aemon and therefore were rewarded with lands above GoldGift and below the River Trident Crossroads. After the subjugation of the Waterlands and The Bronze Isles, the King of the Proudlands, King came with the King of the Hunter's Gift and raised some 50,000 men between them. Both sides meet each other at the road from Hunter's Hill to Eastwatch and battle ensued between the 60,000 men of the Proudlands and Hunter's Gift and the 28,000 or about men in the Blackfyre army (mainly containing Waterlands men). At first the combined might of the two kingdoms began to break the Blackfyre's with the right flank knighted cavalry charge broke through the defence of the Blackfyre's however all three dragons appeared and their flames set the already dry fields into an intense inferno. 5,000 men died from the flames and tens of thousands wounded. King Orthur Nik and his sons all died to the flames and narrowly King Lance Casterly escaped the battle, but he was captured the day after and bent the knee. Due to King Orthur Nik perishing, The Hunter's Gift passed to his brother who became Lord Ulthor Nik. It was hereby known as "The Field of Fire"
THE CRAZED COLLAPSE
During the Crazed Collapse it should be noted that The Hunter's Gift were the only kingdom who stayed 'loyal' barring the Crownlands. They were the only kingdom to give fighting men to the king and if it were any other kingdom the King would've been crushed. The strategic placing of the Hunter's Gift meant the Crownlands had a buffer zone. We should not underestimate the Crownlands as well though they did not have many men only about 25,000 they still had many good knights and commanders alongside the Hunter's Gift. Lead by Nestor Nik the rebel kingdoms found it quite difficult to penetrate the heavily guarded borders of the Hunter's Gift, most of the Proudlands were either neutral or against the rebellion so they helped aid the Hunter's Gift and the king and the Bronze Isles constant harassment of the eastern coast meant the Waterlands,Proudlands and Dawnlands had to leave quite a lot of men back as garrison.

At the Battle of the Bask the loyalist army including The Huntermen were defeated and Nestor Nik was taken by the rebel opposition. The massive controversy happened between Lord Nestor Nik, Brielle Storm and Ser Samuel Royce at the celebrations in King's Landing.
